Irish Times and other newspapers have provided updates on PURE in recent weeks all commenting on the amount of illegal dumping removed from the upland region.  ‘The amount of rubbish removed equates to 114,000 standard black rubbish bags…’

The article mentions the numerous reports PURE have received from the public, the amount of collections and the use of GPS/GIS recording methods to create a data-base of illegal dumping incidents.
