PURE Advertising Campaign October/November 2008

Recently PURE embarked on a regional advertising campaign that included a radio advert on East Coast FM and numerous newspaper adverts.  The 40 second radio advert will run from October to November 2008.  The advert asks the public to check that waste collectors have a valid waste collection permit and the consequences if they hand over waste to those who don’t.

The newspaper advertisements appeared in the Wicklow People, Wicklow News, Wicklow Times, Southside Newspaper, and the Tallaght Echo over a four week period. This advertising campaign was to alert the public to both unauthorised waste collectors and the effects illegal dumping has on the environment.
