‘Disgraceful Holiday Dumping’

The Wicklow News reports that ‘more than 15 tonnes of construction and household waste has been removed from an illegal dump site in West Wicklow.’  The dumping sites were located between Aghavannagh and Rathdangan with local residents assisting the PURE project in identifying locations affected by fly-tippers.  The article also comments on the amount of waste collecting by PURE, stating that between January 3^rd and March 14^th over 95 tonnes of waste has been collected from the Wicklow area.
