‘Illegal dumping in Aughrim’.
Rogue waste collectors are presumed responsible for recent dumping at the tranquil site of Rosahane graveyard close to Aughrim village. ‘About two tonnes of illegally dumped waste was found in the parking lot at the 18th Century graveyard.’ As with all interviews and press articles the PURE project urge ‘…local residents to ensure anyone taking waste away produces the relevant documentation to help prevent incidents of illegal dumping.’ The article ends with a message on waste permits, ‘if they don’t have one, don’t use them.’
