‘PURE Project gets €300,000 to tackle waste’.  Minister for the Environment Heritage and Local Government, John Gormley T.D. announced during the week that the project established in 2006 to battle the problem of fly-tipping and illegal dumping in the Wicklow Mountains would receive €100,000 each year over a three year period.  Minister Gormley said, ‘PURE has proved a worthwhile project as was evident from their results so far.’
