‘Illegal dumping at Glendalough scenic areas of to be investigated’. 

Wicklow People report that PURE are ‘…following two definite lines of inquires’ in relation to the illegal dumping incidents in the Sally Gap.  ‘Both sites were also based near busy tourist routes and would have been visible to tourists to the area enjoying the recent hot spell of weather.’   The article also comments on the swift removal of dumping from the landscape, and that the PURE project recognise ‘…the busy tourism season is about to kick in’.
